Hello Everyone and Happy New Year ! Have been feeling somewhat under
the weather last couple of weeks and am still recovering from a bad
cold.
Today I present to you a typical winter scene of a canal in Amsterdam.
Finding myself with a group of artists who asked me to join them, we
decided to set up at this location. Looking south on the Prinsengracht
were it meets with the Leidsegracht. It was a dull grey overcast day,
so a bit of imagination with the colors brings some life into this
otherwise boring situation. This work is made with soft pastel I then
carried on to make an oil painting which will be my next posting.
