Candy Barr - "Bulldog Mountains"

6" x 6" Oil on masonite

Working plein air today at Bulldog Canyon
was magical. The California Poppies popped open
as the sun warmed them up around 9 am, making
the fields glow. The mountain ridge is called Goldfield Mts
for reasons other than gold perhaps??
