5" x 5" ~ Watercolor on PaperI used a bit of Matisse humor on another one of my plump little friends. This pear, illustrated with every spot, freckle and blemish, is painted on a handmade deckle edge paper. The deckle gives the paper a very natural, beautiful edge. This piece is best framed with a darker mat board behind the paper and "float mounted" so the deckle edge stands out.
