Pink Hybiscus ~ Jacqueline Gnott Watercolor Studio

5" x 5" ~ Watercolor on Paper
This is the old fashioned type of Hybiscus that winters over here in Indiana. I have both pink and white in my garden. I love how the ribbed petals unfurl as it blooms. And, I don't speak fluent "botanical", but the crown of little spires that surround and maybe protect the bud are the coolest thing. I thought you'd enjoy this subtle pink Hybiscus study.
