12" x 7" ~ Watercolor on Paper A trio of brite colors. The Hot Pepper Trio is a cute collection the misshapen pepper family. My mom used to can a lot in the summer. One of her specialties was the "hot tomato juice" and yes, we want to emphasize the "hot" here. If you'd walk into the kitchen your eyes would burn, and she'd be up to her elbows in rubber gloves trying to clean them. The end of the day would find my mom exhausted, and we'd all sit around the house listening to the canning jars "ping", a sign that they were sealing.
