This is another example of the soft-focus background. A lovely little day lily embedded in it's leafy surroundings. These soft-focus pieces are so fun for me to do. To take a piece of plain white watercolor paper and make something that looks so photographic, is so cool!! And of course, we have the little budlets. (My "botanically challenged" version of small buds. Budlets sound so much cuter!)
