Lani Vlaanderen

"March of the Cottonwoods"
9x12 oil on gessoed masonite
$100 unframed plus shipping

This is a view looking south towards the cottonwoods at the Medano-Zapata Ranch down by the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado. I just spent some time there plein air painting with a group of other artists. It's a wonderful place where they raise both cattle and buffalo. I, needless to say, was in seventh heaven trying to imagine myself living there a hundred years ago.
