This work pictures the deep rich masses of foliage in it's full fruition, typical of middle summer at the water's edge adorned with the beautiful lighting of a sunset. Please note the detail in the vines curling up around the main tree, the haze from the sun that fades some elements in the scene, the grasses and wildflowers on the banks and the brushwork and colors in the sky and the clouds.
