Remember playing in mud? It ranks right up there with swings and rolling down hills. Remember the dirt’s earthy smell? The grainy wet texture as it squished between my fingers and toes? In this piece I collaged those grains of dirt into the piece to give it more texture... not "real dirt" but the dirt used by model train hobbyists, they won't break down within the painted piece.
