"Hanging Grapes" has been hanging around my studio for at least 6 months, and when I posted it I was satisfied with it - but when I ran across it later I wasn't happy with it so I decided to tweak it then re-post it. Salvador Dali said that he gave a painting seven days and if it was not done by then he would retire it and go on to a new project. With a 5x5 panel, I give it not more than 4 hours. Sometimes it needs more but when it does I go on to something else and come back to it later. So I'm back again with its new incarnation. E-mail me at artistjohnwlong@live.com
