Box of Strawberries, 5" x 7", Watercolor. This painting came about when I went outside and saw the beautiful day, so clear and warm, with just a hint of a subtle breeze. I wanted to bottle some of the great weather we've had the last few days, if only I could. Of course that wouldn't be possible but I could paint something bright and cheerful. I noticed the strawberries I had just gotten, and immediately knew what I'd paint. I hope they cheer you up when you look at them. One friend said now he wanted some strawberry shortcake, ha.
