"When Aspens Turn"

This is a new painting from my fall trip to the Sierra. We had no sooner arrived in mid October than a rain and snowstorm showed up, and made us cut our trip short. When we returned a week later, there was much more snow on the mountains, and the aspens had turned more golden.
