Posies and Pomegranates was created almost a year ago when I was trying to paint something for a Christmas Card. I wanted it to be very loose, watery and colorful. I had something in mind, just looking at the flowers on my sink as I drew this one. Strangely enough I had been painting all day long and as I got up to wash my brushes, was compelled to do this one on the run, quickly standing at the kitchen sink. It is loose because I hurried it, not always a bad thing. I used it for my card and also I made some prints. The prints are selling for 35 dollars/free shipping. This print looks very good matted in 3-4" soft white. Call me if interested. Thank you. Eleanor
