My trip to Italy and Greece in 2006 was what inspired me to paint again after retiring from a long career as a commercial and editorial illustrator. With only a half day in the glorious city of Venice, of course I fell in love with it! I treasure my many photos from that trip and treat each experience of painting and reliving each one as a special treat.
