Pastel Flowers in Pewter Pitcher, by Eleanor Erickson Hargrave

Pastel Flowers in Pewter Pitcher, 16" x 12", Watercolor. This painting was most enjoyable to work on after gathering a variety of roses and foliage from my yard. The light purple flower is Society Garlic and the greens were Asparagus Fern. It was my intent to keep the background light, after getting a tip from my favorite artist..any guesses? My favorite contemporary artist is Charles Reid so I do pay attention.. If interested in this painting please contact me at arroyoellie@sbcglobal.net. The price is $150, shipping including. Please feel free to look at many other current works on my blog. www.elliesartblog.blogspot.com

Thank you, Eleanor
