Imagine Spring by Tommy McDonell

This painting is done in Alcohol Inks for a show in Texas. I like the way I am beginning to develop my own style in a medium that is so changeable. Alcohol inks even make watercolors look forgiving, if you can imagine that! 

My work will be shown at the Dutch Gallery in Dallas, Texas. This came about through an artist on Daily Painters Marketplace who saw one of my paintings and showed it to the owner of the gallery. Pretty neat, huh?
