This is an oil painting on linen canvas which is a much stronger canvas than cotton and which last much longer.
The painting makes you feel like you are taking a walk in South Indian countryside. On the left is a path used mostly by farmers to go take care of their fields. They walk or go on a bicycle and water each plant individually with a water pot plunged in the canal waters. On the right is the canal with a little bridge.
