I must say that the reproduction on the magazine cover lost a lot of the beautiful color in the actual painting. The sun is about to set and is casting a rosy glow on the steeple of the Star Island chapel. The Oceanic Hotel can just be seen in right foreground. Gosh, I love that place - out on the Isles of Shaols.
Oil on masonite measuring 8 x 16. Unframed.
