Recently some friends and I called in at the Donkey Sanctuary at Vouni on the island of Cyprus where I live. The staff there do marvellous work, looking after over 100 donkeys, many of whom have been abandoned or mistreated by their owners. This little Sweetheart still has his thick winter coat and was especially cute!
