Hi! I'm a new here and thanks for letting me contribute to this blog. This is an oil sketch of the Waitemata harbour, Auckland, New Zealand.
It is 12" x 9" Oil on paper.
The weather has been extremely changeable here; sunny and showers so this took a lot of dodging the rain. The grassy mound is North Head and the island in the distance is Rangitoto. They are very old volcanos, Rangitoto being the youngest at about 600 years ago.
