This is the third and last art work made on this 4 day trip I made to Venice, Italy. I was staying just around the corner from the first building that is sticking out on the left. This small work delightfully depicts the colors of this enchantingly intoxicating city. Venice is no plastic artificial Walt Disney reproduction sit, here you have the real thing. The church on the right was built in 1294 and like every other religious institute in Venice is housed with important art works from such Venetian masters as Tintoretto and Tizano.
The intention of this work is to give one an impression of a typical piazza scene in Venice. Details are represented in a suggestive manner leaving room for your eyes to fill them in. You may have noticed that the people are not all on the same level, the lone figure on the left is walking down some steps from an elegant pink facade palazzo, while on the extreme right figures are proceeding up some steps leading to a raised level.
