It's all about the texture and the color, not the subject! I used the paint very thick and and love the way the light hits this grizzly bear. (Click on the image for a larger view). I painted this from one of my photos. He was at a zoo, but I changed the back ground to a place in Montana. We had lots of bears out there, and what an exciting thing to see them in the wild!
