Drove by Cty Rd A east of Ellison Bay, up in Door County
Peninsula...and saw this old fishing boat resting off the
side of the road, with a barn behind it. As a youth, these
old fishing boats were everywhere to be found, but are
sadly gone for the most part today. A testament to the
past history making a living by fishing.
I set up and painted just the boat, then following a quick
paint event I participated in, painted part of the marina
in while the auctioning was going on. A more fitting
resting place...
