This was another intense study that I did of one of my favorites of the Hudson River School masters, Albert Bierstadt that painted back in the 1800's. He and Frederick E. Church had the most dramatic lighting, mood and atmosphere. I am very thankful for what I have learned from having done many of these studies. I now incorporate the techniques in my more contemporary paintings. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed painting it! ~ Connie
