This is another portrait I painted for the series of the singer. I kind of forget what I was thinking when I painted this. I remember wanting to create an extreme glow in the face. It kind of reminds me of candlelight and the night sky. I had gone through a couple of portrait paintings that used other colors instead of skin tones. (I have a self-portrait of me using various colors that I will post with my other self portraits). Hope you have enjoyed a view into my past artworks so far....there are probably about 200-300 artworks of various mediums and subjects, so I will be posting them for awhile!
