Peanut butter and jelly sandwich, is the American symbol of those of us who grew up outside of the US, or one of them at least. Before moving to the US in 1999, me, my family and friends of all times didn't know what it was or how it tasted. It was present in many movies, and we kind of thought it must taste good with a strawberry jelly and it certainly does!
I had a hectic day today, and I didn't hae much time to paint, so this was a quick setting for my shadow box and an easy after dinner painting.
I hope you enjoy my version of this simple treat, so many times painted by Duane Keiser and many others.
