Daily painting....This is a 10 x 14" watercolor on Arches 140 lb paper. Reference photo from Wet Canvas weekend drawing event. I used cobalt violet and emerald green for the greys.....
Thought for today on worrying is a quote from Corrie Ten Boom:
And then this thought about a sleepless, "fishless" night from Max Lucado. The Scripture is Luke 5:5 "We've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything." What are you fishing for, he asks?---solvency, --faith, --healing,-- a happy marriage.... We've felt what Peter felt in this Scripture. "He knows your nets are empty. He knows your heart is weary. He knows you'd like nothing more than to turn your back on the mess and call it a life. But he urges, 'it's not too late to try again'. See if Peter's reply won't help you answer. 'Because you say so, I will let down the nets.'" excerpts from Max Lucado's "Next Door Savior"
