Waterfire

Waterfire is an artistic event that takes place in Providence, Rhode Island during the summer. Providence is built over water, and the whole length are basins they fill with wood continuously all night to keep the fires going until Midnight.

Music is played, and if you don't mind crowds and traffic, a wonderful event. They also have gondola rides, which is what is pictured here, as well as all different kinds of things going on.


Daily painting.... This is a 10 x 14" on Arches 140 lb watercolor paper that I finished this afternoon. The photo was one I had taken from one of the bridges over the water.
