This painting is a small study and will probably be worked up into a larger painting eventually. I went out painting in the SE part of Arizona which is a little bit cooler than where I live. It is getting too hot to paint outdoors now unless you get up at the crack of dawn and that will probably only last for another month and then I will either have to go to San Diego to paint these small studies or work in the studio under air condition.
