"Bright Blue Windows" by Diana Moses Botkin

"Bright Blue Windows" Cityscape
(c)Diana Moses Botkin

Oil, 8"x6" Unframed $225.

Walking down the street in Sandpoint Idaho one late afternoon recently I saw this contrast of color and light. I'm always looking up at the sky even in town... I just can't help myself. At first I was annoyed by the way the building obscured the sky but then I noticed the patterns of the man-made materials. And that reflected turquoise sky color in the windows made me want to paint it all.

This painting is in the Sandpoint Landmarks Show at Timber Stand Gallery, so if you'd like to own it, call Jim Quinn at the gallery. Tell him how you'd like it framed (he does beautiful framing). He can give you an estimate for framing and shipping, plus the painting price.
