Okay, I have a good excuse for not posting the last few days. I was bitten by a rattlesnake Sunday morning and spent the night in ICU because of it. Not the funnest experience, but another interesting chapter in my life. At any rate today is the first day I've really painted, foot propped up of course and still swollen. Don't know what this particular butterfly is, but I love the variation in values and the beautiful raindrops of cerulean blue.
