Push Pump Oil Cans app 7 1/2x6il on wood panel

Why would a person remember a dream they had as a child? I don't know what took place in the dream other than I was standing in an old garage with a dirt floor - it was dark except for a window and an open garage door and I can still smell the old car grease. I feel like it was probably a shade tree mechanic - one that my Dad was using to repair the car. This was back in the 1930's. It might have been a far memory rather than a dream. All I know is that when I found these two old push pump cans in the basement the darkness and smell of old greasy oil was so vivid that I had the urge to capture that moment. I did, at least for me. artistjohnwlong@live.com
