Iceland Poppy Quartet by Karla Nolan, glass painting

My take on the lovely Iceland poppies, here on glass. Remember, this is painted directly onto the glass with specially formulated paints. A challenge it was! They are such charming little flowers, usually lasting around a day, possibly two if I'm lucky! I planted them in a blue planter last summer and enjoyed the show. They're annual flowers, unlike Oriental poppies, which are perennials. If I could grow them inside, I would!

"Iceland Poppy Quartet", 10"X8" edge to edge glass, sold in a simple black framed (not shown), as these paintings must be protected from scratches and chips and are once they are in a frame -- new pricing: $200 + s&h to be determined at time of sale (also, see close up on my website)
