Oil on 5x7 gessoed hardboard.This is my submission to the latest challenge on Karin Jurick's Different Strokes From Different Folks. A nocturnal scene of the Washington, DC landmark, the Jefferson Memorial.
I don't do many landscapes...I do even fewer man made structures...and this is an even rarer painting of a night scene.
There is a glare in the upper right...sorry. Just very difficult the photograph dark colors done in oil using textured strokes.
