Painted in 2006 in spring in Brewster, New York. Painted in the morning on a clear day in spring when the blossoms are just coming. The foreground evergreen and fence give space to the distant trees. The pale yellow house is the center of interest. The sloping hill in the foreground is catching warm bright and nearby trees out of sight cast shadows creating a dappled effect in the foreground.
