Invented Color

Oil on 5x7 gessoed hardboard.
I dug back and found one of mine that I liked from '06. I painted a loose copy...different crop etc.

The color choices are more intuitive and invented. I don't want to produce a copy of nature or a photograph. I want to produce a piece of art...a painting. At least that's how I feel today. Tomorrow- who knows??
