My daily painting today from photos taken April 08 at the Villa d"Este outside of Rome, Italy. I took an art tour to Italy and was amazed at the gardens of this Villa built by the grandson of Pope Alexander the VI. There were around 500 fountains alone. I especially liked the way the late afternoon sunlight bathed the wall in color.
