Now that we are expecting snow in Denver (hopefully) I am jumping ahead to the cool, crisp sunlit mornings of summer. These hollyhocks were so beautifully backlit that they seemed to shimmer. It is a challenge to create on canvas what the eye sees and the spirit feels!
