This was painted in 2005 in my Brooklyn studio. It is a still life painting of brightly colored "Yellow and Red Roses" laid out in a table. In the shadow area is an antique ceramic vase with a blue design. The area of the painting in the lower left middle quadrant is the center of interest, with a white linen tablecloth setting off the roses.
