6 x 6 inches, colored pencils and oil on paper.3 Apricots is the first in a new series I'm working on. I've been experimenting with a new technique ~ my colored pencils plus mineral oil as a solvent. It turns a traditional colored pencil drawing into an oil painting, essentially, and I'm excited about working this way.
This piece is not for sale, but I will be posting others that are, hopefully on a semi-regular basis. I'm trying to do this as well as my regular commissioned illustration work, burning the candle at both ends so to speak. Like we all probably are these days. Anyway ~
