Painters Log, Earth date Sept 4th, 2009
Can't wait till it cools off, its hard painting in a studio with no air conditioning, So I keep on painting no matter what. This painting here is a restaurant in the Arts Colony called Casa Jimenez, it's an affordable place for starving Artists. When I was a kid growing up here in Pomona this place was a Chinese restaurant named Chung King, and it was around for many years, some people say 50 yrs, or so, it was always a great place for me to eat as a child.This painting has so many colors it was more challenging than others I have painted, but I was happy with it. Again thanks for stopping by and remember to keep those brushes wet.
