"Zinnias", 15" x 10-1/2", Original Watercolor. This painting is very bright and cheerful, showing the zinnias as they stood tall in the lovely pewter pitcher. To me, zinnias represent the rich warm colors of late spring and summer. They remind me of my childhood because my parents let me have my own spot where I planted zinnia seeds. Oh, so big and bright. They also remind me of my own children who use to love seeing them in the garden and in vases in our home. Nice memories for a Labor Day weekend. This painting is matted in white and framed in weathered gray. The price of this painting is $400.
