The Last Bloom of Summer, is a 9" x 11" watercolor that I painted yesterday while sitting at my table looking out the back window. I could see the pots where once blooming Geraniums are no longer cascading over the edges. The beauty was so wonderful that it lingers for a time in our memories. Never fear though, as they will return next season with all their various shades of pinks, reds, whites and corals. The scent of those Geraniums aways takes me back to my Mother here and of the home two doors down where we lived until I was three. They were right by the back door and you could get a whiff just running past. I've planted the same ever since, a nice tradition. The price of this painting is $300, free shipping.
