Red Hat Lady, by Eleanor Erickson Hargrave

The Red Hat Lady, 11" x 14", Watercolor. This painting was painted early on in my painting career, and here is how it turned out. A friend of mine saw it and thought the mouth resembled the pouty mouth of his wife, and the fact that she belonged to the Red Hat Society was just perfect. I went to visit them for a few days, and brought it along for a thank you gift. The gal was so pleased and named her Pricilla. The painting hangs in their bedroom and before she goes to bed at night, she says "good night" to Pricilla. Sadly, her husband passed away, but this is one of many fun memories. Hope you enjoyed. Thank you, Eleanor
