San Juan Rain Forest Might be the title by Tommy McDonell

Today marks a new stage in my life as I have been chosen to show my at the Daily Painters International Art Gallery. I have been told there is a long waiting list to be on this blog, however, the manager saw my work and liked it and now, I too am there. The painting that I posted there and am posting here was done today.

Similar to writing, this painting was done again and again and again. Rather than using a word processor to edit my art, I sprayed and/or poured alcohol on the Yupo paper. And as usual, my fingers turned various shades of the colors I was using.

Visitors to my blog and friends on Facebook will be interested to know that my next painting will not be blue or pink. I'm trying yellow.

Now here is the painting done today. Similar to writing it took most of the day, about five hours. And this is the first painting where my photograph does not look as good as the painting.

This painting will be at the Artists League of the Sandhills starting March 25th. And I will be demonstrating a painting there on April 7th.
