Poinsetta watercolor painting is 8 x 10 inches on Arches 140 lb paper. I did this using a pour technique. First you pour paint onto the paper and let it go where it wants and wait for it to dry. I used the red and green paints to pour. Because the paints are diluted with water, the colors are not deep. Once dry, I did the drawing on top of this and painted. The light green is compose green and the pink is quin red and Opus vivid red.
