This is my contribution to The Phone Photo Challenge at DPW posted by Elaine Stolt.
Elaine challenged: What makes a good photo doesn't necessarily make a good painting, and vice-versa! Your challenge is to create a painting from this photo I took with my phone.
I zoomed in to the far middle background...a small bit of exposed water with ducks/geese around it.
My goal for this piece was to keep it extremely loose and to imply detail. I used my trusty painting knife to advance the foreground.
