Pre Raphaelite Girl in Oklahoma by Margaret Aycock

In my painting classes I often start with a classic work of art and change it so that I can demonstrate to the class how to paint a portrait with out having to hire a model for the task.  This way we are all on the same page... kind of... This painting started out as a dark haired girl wit her hair in a bun and ended up a blond in an Oklahoma prairie scene.  Fun!  Anyways this portrait and a couple others, and some daily painting single item 6x6s are on auction this week through my ebay gallery.
