Torn Paper Collage, Cinderella Cupcake Commission 13070, Day 5, 30 Paintings in 30 Days September 2013 Leslie Saeta Challenge by Texas Collage Artist Nancy Standlee

Cinderella Cupcake "One Little Glass Slipper" 13070
18x24x1 1.5" depth on Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Other collages can be seen on my Daily Paintworks Gallery pages HERE.. but this one is not available as it's a commission and will be delivered to a Texas art collector next week. On yesterday's post I showed how I painted acrylic colors on the canvas to get an idea of where I wanted to place the hand painted papers for this paper painting. This is the largest cupcake torn paper collage I have done but not the largest collage.
To see the largest go HERE on my blog http://nancystandlee.blogspot.com/2013/07/torn-paper-collage-commission-and-art.html: It's a 3 panels of 4 x 6 feet canvas.. wow, now that resulted in lots of sticky fingers for my 3 friends and I who completed the piece.
To see work by other artists who are following along with the 30/30 go to the Leslie Saeta blog. I think there were over 250 paintings posted for day 4.
I have written an ArtByte, an affordable tutorial, on the collage process and it's in the editing stage as I write this and it will have over 50 images explaining how I construct a simple collage with hand painted paper. It will be available soon on Daily Paintworks HERE.

The painted canvas before the paper was added
