I
painted this one awhile ago without the bird. I do that often, birds
are easier to paint on a dry painting. I am relaxed because I know if I
mess up the bird it is only the bird and not the background that has to
be fixed. So when I paint them on a dry panel, they usually go on fine
the first time.
The trouble comes in when I have
these paintings that are sitting around waiting for their birds to fly
in and they don't get posted on my blog.
Its 10 x 8 inches, oil on masonite. $200.
